To conceive, write and produce a film about the history of Karlštejn, giving visitors clear context before their tour of the castle.

Concept
Find a clear narrative for a vast historical subject and decide what visitors need to know before the tour begins.
Write
Condense several centuries into roughly twelve minutes without losing context, substance or pace.
Film and animate
Combine live action, visualisations and animation into one coherent film that informs while holding the viewer's attention.
Create the sound
Develop the musical concept, select the right music for each historical period, record the voice-over and shape its final sound in post-production.
The central challenge
Not too short. Not too long. Never dull. Yet informative enough to make every visitor's subsequent tour of Karlštejn more rewarding.

An event film with all the energy of the night itself.
The brief
Capture the atmosphere of the annual presentation and the afterparty — music, dinner and cultural programme included — in a film people would genuinely enjoy watching.
The result: an energetic film that led New Wave to invite us back for another collaboration at the Allwyn event in Karlovy Vary.
